Meet Tracy

Tracy works extensively with not-for-profit organizations, including schools, membership organizations, and public charities, providing audit, review, tax, and consultation services. She is also experienced in compliance audits under the Uniform Guidance for organizations that receive federal funding, and audits of employee benefit plans. Tracy’s deep understanding of not-for-profit organizations allows her to appreciate and understand the unique opportunities and challenges specific to not-for-profit organizations

Tracy began her accounting career in 2000 working for a small town CPA firm preparing individual, corporate, and payroll tax returns, as well as performing QuickBooks bookkeeping services for a variety of clients. She loved the small firm atmosphere and the personalized service that only a small CPA firm could offer, but wanted to expand her skills into areas such as auditing. She joined Squire, Lemkin + Company LLP as a staff associate in 2005, preparing tax returns and performing financial statement audits, and progressed through the company to her current position as Partner.

Tracy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA) and the Greater Washington Society of CPAs (GWSCPA). She is a founding member and treasurer of the Maryland Alumni Club of Delta Omicron, an International Professional Music Fraternity. Tracy is a passionate supporter of the 4-H program. She is Superintendent of the 4-H Clothing Department at the Frederick County Fair, transitioning into that role in 2012 after 10 years serving as a volunteer judge. She has also been awarded the Pearl Clover Award for 15 years as a volunteer leader for the 4-H program.

Tracy graduated from Frostburg State University in 2004 with a major in Accounting and minors in Business Administration and Computer Science. She continued with her studies at The College of William and Mary, receiving her Master of Accounting in 2005. She resides in Anne Arundel County with her husband, Jason. In her personal time, she enjoys traveling, photography, crafts, sewing, gardening, playing flute/piccolo, and cooking.
